The Jacob Conrad listed in the Oley tax records is the one that later went to Northumberland County about 1773 (to Augusta Twp and later Sunbury city).

This is confirmed by land records for his patent in Augusta showing Jacob Conrad of Oley Twp, Berks. Also, his son Nicholas Conrad wrote a deposition for John George Peiffer regarding Revolutionary War service where he mentions living "near Reading" in Berks County before the family moved to Northumberland County.

Jacob Conrad Jr was baptized at Trinity Lutheran in Reading in 1765 before they moved to Northumberland County.

- Tim Conrad
