Justine Young is a daughter of John and Mary Matilda (Updegrave) Young. She was born in Schuylkill County, PA on November 7, 1850. She was baptised at St. Pauls Church(aka Artz's Church) in Hubley Township, Schuylkill County on January 19, 1851. Sponsors at the baptism were Henry and Justina Carl.
