There are four or five major CONRAD families in Va, WV. The
Stephen Conrad family of around Rockingham had a book on the
family. The Swiss Conrads from Pendleton Co come generally
from Ulrich (corrupted to Woolery) Conrad, and there are a
lot from now-WV, some changed spelling to Conard, causing me
a lot of confusion. There are a bunch of Conrads in Frederick Co., too. Just a matter of whittling them down, but has been a lot done on them....Erik P Conard
