Jack, I am grabbing at straws here. I have interest in this union: Margaret CONRAD m. George L. WOOD

My gggrandfather was William Henry Conrad b. PA abt 1844, William m. Harriet Bond in Lansing, Allamakee County, Iowa in 1866 at the home of Olin Wood. Is there any possibility that your Conrad-Wood union could have a lead to Olin Wood of Iowa? I know that Williams parents were also born in PA we just have no idea where or what their names were. I have no clue why William and Harriet were married in that home, rather then a church, or at the home of the Rev. Wolf, except for the fact that the Wood's may have been relatives.

Thanks,
Carol - mickkimo@nycap.rr.com
