Hi Erik Conrad,

You mentioned WOOLERY as a corrupted family name in 1700's.

I have WOOLERY (also reported as WOOLEVER and WOOLEVIL) sisters (MOLLY) in old Virginia (now PENDLETON Co., WV) in my line.
Molly WOOLEVER is believed to have married EBENEZER FLANNAGAN. The other sister married a WOLFORD in the same area.
Can you shed some light on how the WOOL? name became corrupted from CONRAD?
