I have a Jacob Conrad born 1705 and his brother Ulrich Conrad both originally from Canton Berne, Sswitzerland. I have a full line of descendents on Jacob. I only know his brother Ulrich was a soldier in the French and Indian War and later represented Pendleton County in the Virginia Assembly in 1792 and 1793. Are they connected to your John Conrad? We have some John's in the lineage.
