Dear Colette;
Mary Anne Connors had two brothers Michael and Thomas. Her mother remarried a man whose last name was Egan.
Thomas came out to America about 1860 and married Johanna Bowden in New York. They had a daughter Margaret in june of 1863. Thomas was killed at the battle of Gettysburg 1July 1863.(this is from his military record).
Michael came out to America chasing after his younger brother to bring him back to Ireland. Michael lived Portarlington and raised a large family most of them chose the religous life.
