For Edmond Connors B 1829 +/- 4 yrs, somewhere in Ireland, with the father's forename unknown, I found 18 rcds: 1826 CRK, 1827 CRK, 1828 CRK, 1828, LIM, 1829 LIM, 1829 LIM, 1830 CRK, 2-1830 TIP, 1831 CRK, 1831 LIM, 1832 TIP, 1832 CRK, 1832 LIM, 3-1833 LIM, and 1833 CRK.
Since your ancestor was convicted of malicious assault in 1839, he would have been only 10 years old based on your post. This is a tad young to have committed such a crime. How confident are you about your info? I know from other research that children as young as 12 were sentenced to death for relatively trivial offenses.
One of the above rcds MAY be for your ancestor - your chances are about 50:50. You will need a more exact DOB, parent(s) name(s), and/or placename(s) to pick which, if any is the right one. Note - Co. Waterford rcds aren't in this database yet. Suggest you wait until they are. This may not be until 2011.
