Assuming that Thomas and Joanna married in Ireland, I found 14 M rcds for 1859 using all variants of the surname. Stripping out the Connors variant leaves just 7 M rcds. One of these MAY show that the bride's name was Joanna. Pls note that the more common spelling of this forename was Johanna. The number of possible M rcds could be further reduced if you find Joanna's maiden name. Try to find the birth or baptismal rcds of their offspring. These may list the maiden name. Also, Naturalization papers might list the maiden name For an 1840 (exact) B date for Thomas, there are 33 B rcds. Again, stripping out the Connors variant leaves just 20 B rcds. To search for Joanna's birth rcd requires a maiden name. Suggest you do more research into U.S. sources, especially church rcds. Google "Irish Family History Foundation" to lead you to this database. Good luck in your search. Pls post your search results to my Genforum msg. Notify Administrator about this message?
