You didn't specify a Co., parish, or marriage date; hence, I searched all Ireland. There are 33 John Mitchels born 1896 and 124 Margaret Connors born 1899. BMD rcds from this era are almost sure to exist. They should contain the parents names. The IFHF database is 1/3 to 1/2 complete. It has 9,000,000 rcds. More will be added. I suggest you wait until it is. The chance that their rcds are in the database now is less than 50/50.

Go to http://brsgenealogy.com/ and register. They will tell you as rcds are added to the database. Try to find more data on your ancestors. Otherwise, your search will be difficult, and expensive. The IFHF charges 5 euros (til 3/31) for EACH detailed rcd (10 euros after 3/31).
