Connors is Irish. Catherine is one of the most common forenames. I don't know about Carroll, but the John is next to the top of common mens names. Go to http://brsgenealogy.com/. The "Connors" are prevalent in the Cork NE, Tipperary S, and Tipperary N areas/parishes. The "Conners" is more common in the west and Roscommon County.
