Dominic CONNOR/CONNORS/CONNERS b abt 1832 in Ireland came to the US and settled in Lexington,MO where he worked as a miner. He is listed on the 1860 Lexington, Lafayette County, MO census. Also, there is a Dominic CONNER listed as a passenger on the ship, Marmion, that sailed from Liverpool and arrived at the Port of New York on 24 oct 1850. He was listed as being 23 years old and a mason. Dominic CONNERS married Mary MORAN (18 Jan 1865) at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lexington, MO. Mary was born in County Mayo, Ireland (15 Feb 1845) and had come to the US in 1863. She was the daughter of Michael MORAN and Bridget MCDONALD. Dominic and Mary were the parents of Michael b. Nov 1865,Bridget b. Sept 1867, Patrick b. Oct 1869 and my grandfather, James Edward b. 30 July 1871.Per the Immaculate Conception Parish records, Dominic died 18 July 1872. Mary remarried Martin Murphy. She died in Lexington, MO 3 Nov 1924. Any information regarding Dominic or Mary would be very much appreciated.
