took a detail with the school of instruction May 17, 1934
retired as a fireman June 1, 1936
moved to San Bernadino, CA with to be with brother Michael
died in CA August 8, 1940
his address was in San Bernadino but may have died while on vacation at Huntington Beach, CA.
would love to have any info on him

his wife's name was Annie from New York
she may have gone back to New York after John's death and live with her brother.
