Iwould like to think there was a connection but I think it is just the Donaldsonville thing My ggrandmother live in La. and I do not know when she left but she was married to James Daly and living on the west side of NYC in 1869 when my grandmother was born I know very little about her except she was born in Donaldsonville and she was a proper southern woman with lovely manners Sorry
