I live in Hamburg, Ny a suburb of Buffalo! The leading orphange at that time was the Baker Homes in Lackawanna. It was founded by Fr. Nelson Baker who is currently under consideration for canonization by the Roman Catholic Church. Adjacent to the orphanage is Holy Cross Cemetery the resting place of most of the Irish residents of Buffalo and Western New York! You may contact Holy Cross administration building at 716 823-1197!
