I don't know if this will help, but I do
have some info on NYC family(s) from
Federal Census 1850 New York City:

Michael Ratican(handwritten could be Ratigan)
born Ire. 1823; wife Margaret ____ born
Ireland 1826 and their children:

Margaret...b.NY 1847
Charles....b.NY 1849

One house over from them lived:

James Connolly, b.Ire.1816
wife Isabella______b.Ire.1814 & children:

Pat (male) b.Ire.1843
Ann .......b.Ire.1838

I'm looking into the families in this
"neighborhood" trying to locate the siblings
of my "family" the Riley's and Russell's.

The "neighborhood" would be the NY city
Central Park area. Most of these people in
this area during the 1850-55 time period
were poor immigrant laborers from Ireland.

Good luck!
