I don't have much to go on..but will throw my query out here anyway.
My Grandmother (Margaret QUINN) and her husband Patrick MULLARKEY lived in Dunmore, County Galway also. I was told that Margaret's sister, Mary QUINN married a Connelly (I don't know which spelling). That's all I have.
