Do you know more about the locations of your Connolly Canadian and Ireland connections? My great grandmother was Mary Reilly (nee Connolly)who was born about 1847 in Beagh Beg, Co Leitrim Ireland (just south of Carigallen). She had at least 2 siblings Catherine Brown (nee Connolly)and Arthur Connolly. Her father(??-1883) and grandfather were both named James Connolly.

Catherine Brown (nee Connolly) emigrated to Quebec Canada before 1901 (probably in the 1890's). She became a point of immigration for my grandfather Arthur Joseph Reilly (1889-1967) and his siblings Catherine Smith (nee Reilly), John Reilly, Michael Reilly, James Reilly, Patrick Reilly and Michael Reilly.

My grandfather and most of his siblings emigrated from Quebec to the US between 1900 and 1920.
