Hi Elizabeth,

My great,great grandfather was Thomas Connolly B.1857 in Edinburgh.
His parents were Peter + Mary Ann (Nee Johnston) but I can't find any birth details
for Peter Connolly in Scotland.
I know it's a long shot but your Patrick
Connolly could be another son of Peter/Mary Ann.
There is a new website in Edinburgh which is
searchable : http://www.origins.net/GRO

It cost Ł6 to download 30 pages but you have access for 24 hours only.
