Connolly by Carol Connolly Fricke of 1895 My Grandfather, Thomas Connolly, was born in county Monaghan on January 13, 1875. His father was Patrick born in February of 1833 in Mayo, co. Cavan. My great-grandfather Patrick was baptized on February 27, 1833, married January 10, 1869 and died November 12, 1922. Thomas and Patrick were very common names in this family. They came from the town of Mayo, in county Cavan, and later moved to Keennogduff, near Ballybay, in county Monaghan. There may be some relation there. Followups: Re: Patrick E.
