My Great Grandfather had a younger brother named
Thomas Connolly. On the birth record his name was
spelled Thomas Conly. They used to just spell the
name how it sounded to them in those days. He was
born in 1846, in the month of October. I don't have
the day of birth. His father was a Patrick Connolly
and his mothers name was Anne Hoey (HOYE, HOY). They
lived the the town of Dundalk, Lower Seatown,
County Louth. 50 miles north of Dublin. Let me
know if this info sounds like it may help. E-Mail
me at WIDEBACK@aol.com.
