Samuel Alexander Connolly born Dublin 1856 emigrated to New Zealand in
1878 and then the line continued here to myself. Samuel had a sister
Mary Elizabeth Connolly who married a James Rogers Gamble(Sailor-Mate)
in Dublin in 1890. James's father was a coastguard. Last address
for James/Mary 50 Seville Place Dublin (1890)
Samuel/Mary Connolly's parents were Michael (bootmaker)and Margaret(nee Carey)
Margaret died at 50 Seville Place and is buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery
in Dublin. We are not sure what happened to the father Michael or if there
were any other children. Does any one else have similar connections ?
