Dromad is a small town in Co. Lietrim. It is also a parish. I can't say that it is the same as your Dromid but I don't know anywhere else with a similar name. The parish record in Ireland start just about this time so you may have some luck if you can ckeck it out in person.

Unfortunately none of these records are available on the Internet. I can put you in touch with a researcher if you are interested.
