Our surname line died out with the death of my grandfather, James CONNOLLY in 1955. His father was Michael CONNOLLY b. Dublin in 1861. Michael's wife was Ellen MURPHY (dau. of Maurice MURPHY and Ellen GRAY) Michael and Ellen had 3 children: Hellen (aka Nellie)(m. Ernest Paulin(g)), Anna (m. Maurice McCarthy), and my grandfather, James (m. Mary Grace Maher).
