BERNARD CONNOLLY married MARY DOONAN in Leitrim and migrated to New Haven, CT (probably entering through Boston) prior to 1885.

They had 2 sons, both born in New Haven:
1 - BERNARD CONNOLLY served as policeman in New Haven or Waterbury

2 - JOHN FRANCIS CONNOLLY (my grandfather)
born 10/4/88 in New Haven; served WWI; married Rose Agnes Conifrey in NYC April 1920; employed by Macy's as Stationary Engineer; died 5/2/51; burried Holy Rose(?) cemetery/Westbury, NY

I'd appreciate knowledge of relatives in CT/NY or anything else related---thanks.
