My ancestors went to PA circa 1860 from Ireland. via Leeds(just guesswork). Martin had a son John William b. circa 1870 and a grandson James b. circa 1897. He also had a grand-daughter, my grandmother, who was sent to Scotland to be brought up by John William's deceased wife's family. I am looking for Connolly's in PA who may be related to me. Martin Connolly also had 6 daughters who were around the PA area late 19th Century. Please get in touch if anyone can help as it is tricky trying to search from Scotland.
