I am researching the Sylvester Thomas Connolly family. He immigrated to America filing his declaration and naturalizing in Beaver County, PA. He came from Ireland in 1864/65. I am not sure which port he came through. His children were: Patrick P. Connolly b.1863 Ireland, Mary Ann b. 1865 "O", Catherine Agnes b. 1868 Erie Co., PA; Ellen or Nellie b. 1869; (Twin) Michael b. 1869; Martin b. 1870; James b. 187?; Elizabeth b. 1878, Beaver Co., PA. Sylvester d. 1892, Beaver Co., PA. Mary Ann Degnan d. 1905, Allegheny Co.,PA. The children married: O'Malley, Brannan, Garvey, Gifford, Schwartz, Garvey. Anyone who would like to share in this research please contact me.
I would like to find the place of origin in Ireland on this family. One of the sons was a deaf-mute, and one son- James, disappeared according to family tradition.
