In Reply to: John Connolly 1893 Ireland by John P Connolly of 1895

My Connolly relatives left the Cliften area in the 1860's & a large migration in about 1872. The widow of Michael Connolly, Mary Gibbons Connolly, and 9 of her 11 children. One died as an infant and the eldest, John, had come to America in time to be a Civil War participant. They eventually settled in the Fort Benton, Montana, area. One of Michael's, sisters, Mary, settled in Sand Coulee, Montana.
