Just thought that I'd let you know that there are many more Connicks than that. I have just arrived to the US from the Irish Republic. My English name given to me was Joseph Connick, as was my grandfathers. He grew up in Co. Limerick, Ireland.
I live in Atlanta now and would be happy to give you more info. if it would be of help.
PS : His wife's name was Mary Lee, also of Limerick, Ireland.
