how come I'm not seeing a single massachusetts family line?
is there something i'm missing?
I connect to sarah 'conant', who married andrew holmes in
wareham, mass.
She was the daughter of william 'conant', a corporal in the Rev. war and a life long resident of wareham. he was born in 1846.
William quite possibly was the son of william connett jr. and martha 'moll' wicket. they were married in the late 1830's in plymouth/rochester.
obviously, william's father was william connett.
His father or grandfather was probably the william connett that connett point in mattapoisett, mass was named after.
does anyone at all know anything more about these Connetts??
