I don't know whether we have any connection or not, but my ggreatmother was Ann Connett and she came from Exeter, Devon, she married my great grandfather Richard Pester in 1858, they went on to have six children (Richard already had 4 children). They moved down to the London area of Paddington/Kensal Green/Willesden area in about 1865? Why I was interested in your message is that Ann's father on her marriage certificate is Absalom Connett his occupation was quoted as Farmer. So far I have no more details on him but I am hoping that if I keep searching I will find some more information. You mention Folkestone, Kent, well it is quite strange I actually live in Folkestone. If I can be of any help to you in your research do not hesitate to contact me. I am actually researching my father's name which is Pester.
Bye for now.
Barbara Ryan
