William Connery married Martha Carson in 1880. William's Father was James and Martha's Father was Thomas.

My Gt Gt Grandmother was Margaret Connery from Newtownards, daughter of Charles Connery and granddaughter of Hugh Connery. A lot of people were moving from the rural areas to Belfast around this time to look for work so its possible that your Connerys also came from Newtownards which would explain why James married a Newtownards girl.
