CONNER in Ohio - mid 1800's
Neri Conner (mother may have been Elizabeth?) is found in the Will of my GGGF, Mason Marks in Noble co., OH in 1857.He is noted as "under 21 years of age" as money was bequeathed to him when he became 21 years old.How was he related? Mason and Hannah had 12 children - 6 born in Va and then moved to OH about 1830 and had 6 more children.Cannot find any Conner name in my research.Mason's wife was Hannah Daniel, so doubt if related to her? Also can find NO father for Neri. The 12 children married into Hoops, Cooper, Slater, Rowles, Dyson, Trenner, Parsons, Thanson -- Did this Conner have a connection with one of those families?
Mason lived in Rich Hill Twp, Noble Co.He was given a Land Grant signed by Martin Van Buren in Muskingum, Co. OH in 1837.WHO or HOW was this Neri Conner connected to Mason?
