My first cousins twice removed were born to Amory Loring Brown and Minervia Elizabeth (Mamie) Gray. Loring and Mamie (Gray) Brown lived in Bolingbroke, Monroe County, Georgia and moved to Smyrna, Cobb County, Georgia (which is where they were in 1900 and 1910 censuses). There they gave birth to Ethel Gray Brown (b 06 AUG 1893, died in 1948 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia and never married, but I have her obituary), Louis T(homas?) Brown (b.MAR 1895), Fred G Brown (died before 1948, because not listed as a survivor in above named Ethel's obituary), Lucile Brown (b SEP 1899), Laura Brown (b abt 1903) and Elizabeth Minerva Brown (b abt 1906). In the obituary of Ethel Gray Brown the survivors are as follows: (sisters) Mrs Ben T CONNER, Jr of Atlanta, Mrs Frank WILSON of Jacksonville, FLA, Mrs A.V. HILL of Orlando, FLA, and (brother) Louis T BROWN of AL(?) I believe I have found Laura in the 1930 Census of Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, married to a Milton JONES (with Ethel Brown listed as a sister-in-law to Milton). If the sisters in the obituary (of oldest sister Ethel) were listed by age then Laura must have subsequently married Frank WILSON. Louis T(homas) Brown (in the 1930 census) is listed in Dougherty County, Georgia with wife Julia and sons William (age 10) and Louis,Jr (age 7). I would love to speak with any family member connected to this family. I know what Amory Loring Brown did to his second wife and himself in 1929.
