Name of Testator: James Conner (his mark)
Place will made: Monongalia Co. VA
Date will made: June 26, 1802
Name of Executors: Richard Foreman (son-in-law), John Conner (son), William Conner
Testator bequeaths to wife (not named( the use of the plantation testator lives on, during her widowhood, 3 cows, 1 yoke of oxen, mare and colt, all household goods and farming utensils, all hog and sheep.
Testator bequeaths to daughter and her husband Richard Foreman, the tract of land they now live on. To daughter Elizabeth and her husband John Holt, 1 cow and calf. To son John, 100 acres of land off of the south east corner of the tract that testator lives on. To daughter Grace and her husband, Abraham Workman, testator's undivided tract of land lying between him and Joseph Foreman, said Abram paying 20 pound cash in iron, salt and grain. To son Daniel, 100 acres off of the northeast corner of testator's tract of land. To son James, 100 acres off of the southwest corner of said tract. To son Robert, 100 acres of land off of the northwest corner of said tract.
Testator wills that the remainder of his stock be sold and equally divided among the younger girls. Should either of said sons die without issue, his land in total sold and divided equally among the girls. Should Robert die, James is to have his tract and James' tract sold instead, and what ever is coming to testator from his father's estate and the 20 pounds from said Workman, be applied to the support and schooling of his younger children.
