FACT : The Trail of Tears took place between 1838 and 1839. It is one of the most important events in Cherokee History, and is very, very well documented.

FACT : The Principle Chief of the Cherokee, before, during and after the Trail of Tears was John ROSS, who's leadership of the Cherokee from 1828 until his death in 1866 is another extremely well documented part of Cherokee History.
