Still trying to make some of my Conner connections. I have a James Conner b.1809 in GA. married to a Mary unknown madian name b.1808 either in GA. or North or South Carolina. One of these two is possibly part or full Cherokee Indian. My grandmother has always said that she was part Cherokee. Anyway our family tree seems to hit a brick wall with these two. Not sure if they were from GA or the Carolina's, but know they did live in North GA. most of their lives and had at least 6 children. Edward O. 1829, James Madison 1832, William 1833, Levinety 1840, Susan 1842 and Barnibay 1844. If anyone has these people in your family and can help with info on them it would be greatly appreciated. Also I will be more than glad to share what I have on them.
