Bob, my husband's great-great grandmother was Jane Cureton, she married Joseph Dawson, her mother was Winifred Conner, daughter of Max Conner/Phoebe Conner from SC. I am looking for information on this family. Winifred married Richard Cureton and I saw their grave with Jane Cureton and her husband, Joseph Dawson when I visited Tennessee. Also, Issac Dawson, Joseph's brother (b. 1812) married Elizabeth Cureton and they are buried in the same cemetery. Is Winifred the sister of your ggg grandfather?
