We may be looking for the same William Conner in Virginia, however, in one census index I looked at there were over 25 in the same Shenandoah area. The dates I have are b 1755, d abt 1840 in Shenandoah County. He had a son James born 1786, died 8 Apr 1854 in Zepp, married to Ann Margaret "Peggy" Huddle. I'm decended from James. Other children of William's were Mary "Polly", Nancy, Elizabeth "Betsy", Ruth, Martha, Lavinia, Severen John C, William, and Samuel. I have no birthdates for the other children, but do have some marriage dates and they all seem to be much younger than James which makes me suspect I have the wrong William. Let's compare more information. What is your husband's line of descent?
