Your Jefferson Conner sounds like my great great uncle. My great grand father was Wilson Conner, born 1841 in Indiana, enrolled in the Civil War in Carlisle, IA in 1861; married Malinda Wagoner in 1863 in Indianola, IA; moved to Ft. Calhoun, NE; then to Kansas, and then to OK. He was supposed to have a brother named Jeff. Could they be brothers?
What was the maiden name of the wife of Jefferson Conner? Thanks, Francis Partch (970) 641-1732
