I don't know much about my great grandfather except that he was in Missouri about 1840.
He was half indian and married an indian.
From the census records, it appears that he
is James Conner and his wife Paralee Jane.

He must have been born about 1820.
The Children of Mekinges don't seem to be the
right candidates unless there was a wild seed from John Conner, who was about 18 and went to the columbia river and then to mexico.

I am searching for the cousins of Mekinges who would have been children of William's brothers (John or Henry)

thanks
