My gggrandfather ws Torrance/Torrence Culpepper Conner. He was b. abt. 1790 NC. In 1823 he married Matilda Hackett/Hoket/Howcutt in Jones Co. GA. They had 7 children. Unsure of the name of first son, believe it was Richard H. Second son was Willis. First daughter was Serena, Matilda's mother's name. Second daughter was Caroline. T. C. jr, Edward John, Nertilla were other children. I830 Bibb Co. GA, 1840, 1850 Crawford Co. GA. In 1860 Matilda, Willis, E. J. , Nertilla, Caroline with spouse Andrew Jackson McLendon, and Richard H. with spouse Susannah were all in Henry Co AL. No Torrance sr or jr. Would love to find the parents of Torrance. Thanks for any help. Julia
