My ggrandmother was Rose Connoly/Connelly who was born in Monaghan in 1863, if dates on the 1901 census are right. She married Thomas Sheridan from County Cavan. My grandmother, Mary Anne Sheridan McCluskey was born in 1898 and her baptismal cert. shows Anne Connolly as her sponsor. The dates could indicate a relationship. Any of this spoken about in your family? I also seem to remember my grandmother came to US, state of Rhode Island, to live with Connolly cousins. Again, anything? Please let me know.
