Looking for info. on John Connelly/Connely who was born in Ireland in 1744 and died in Ashe or Wilkes Co. North Carolina July 24,1798. He married Sarah Wilson b.1747 and they had 5 daughters (names unknown) and 5 sons: William b. 1768, John Jr.b.1776, Elijah b.1779,Josiah b.1783 and Joel b.1788. After John's death Sarah and sons moved to Lawrence Co. Indiana. Does anyone know where in Ireland John was from, what ship took him to America and where he landed (possibly N.C.)
