Seeking informion on Patrick Charles Connolly, born 1827
or 1828 in either Saint John, New Brunswick or Pennsylvania.
His family name could have been spelled in a number of ways,
including Connelly, Connolly, Conley, Conoly, or Conaly. It
is not known, by us anyway, whether he was born before his
family came to Canada from Pennsylvania.
Patrick Charles Connolly married Mary A. Kennedy or Kenley, born
approx. 1827 in the United States.
They had two children: Henry Charles Connolly, born approx.
1866 in Saint John, NB, and Mary Frances Connolly, born approx.
1863 in Saint John, NB. She died 29-Aug-1888, at age 25 in
Saint John, with the married name of Paw. We have no information
on her husband.
The family has used the spelling Connelly since the turn of the
century, if not earlier, appearing in several forms before then.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
