Hi Pat: Thanks for your reply. Sinced doing my initial posting I traveled to Suagerties and found a long lost cousin of mine and we found that my Connelly's were indeed from Artane,Co. Dublin. Talk about all over the map. Anyway, I did some research into my Connelly relatives re the Civil War and I don't find any involvement. They would have been right "in the ball park" for being involved but so far not to be found. Anyway, the church of St Mary of the Snow was very helpful and my cousin, born and raised in Saugerties has been following-up too. Please do keep in touch it would be much appreciated.
