Gonnelly was born in Leicester(shire, Whitwick, England. In 1881 census Patrick is 21 and living with his parents (Thomas & Bridget) in Whitwick. Also living in the home is his 17 year old sister, Bridget. Bridget came to the US and married J.Lidwell and had children. She was born in 1868 and died in 1941 in Cambria Co. Penn.
