In Reply to: Grandfather from County Galway by John James Connelly of 1324

I have the marriage license of my grandfather John Connelly which states that he was born in Ireland and was 48 years old when he got married to Agnes Beatrice Bowen, 30 years old, also born in Ireland. His parents listed as Martin & Margaret and hers as Patrick and Margaret. They were married in Providence Rhode Island 3 Nov 1904. Oral history states that they were from County Galway and/or county Leitrum. His name is John James Connelly - I was the 3 one not just a junior. Martin - doing the math 1904-48 would have been born around 1856 and Agnes would be around 1874. This is as far back as I go. Anybody out there plug in here?
