Re. Connolly. My gg grandfather, Hugh, came to America from Ireland in 1845 and, we think, he served as an indentured servant with a family in Pennsylvania.. We know nothing about where in Ireland he came from or anything about his family.
He was born in 1829 and served in the Civil War in 1864 and 1865. He became a US citizen in 1863.
He married Mary Jane Hamm in 1861 in Hanover, PA.
He died in Limon, Colo. in 1898.
I hope we have a connection here. Do you have any further information?
