I don't know whether this surname goes under the CONNELLY family
forum but since it's not listed, and I have not heard from a
request to list it as spelled above, I thought I would post this.
I have seen the name spelled CONNERLY in several census. What
I have is this, and of course would like to have more.
1) CONNERLEY, b Tennessee. Sp, unknown.
2) William Huston CONNERLEY, b 3 SEP 1848, IN. d cir 1933 FL
m Rachel Lucinda DOUTHIT, b Jan 1852, d 8 Jun 1940
(This couple had ten children, I have their names and the
names of some of their spouses)
3) William Thomas CONNERLEY, b 16 Apr 1871. Clay Co, IL,
d 8 Jun 1915, Clay Co, IL, m 15 Jun 1896, Clay Co, IL.
SP Effie Ellen DEAIN, b 13 Jul 1879, Clay Co, IL,
d 3 Sep 1965. (These are my grandparents and they had
five children, including my mother, Hazel Belle
CONNERLEY).
